What should organisations be doing to support the wellbeing of their teams?
There are actions that leaders, managers and employees can all take that will have a huge impact on people’s wellbeing within an organisation.
Leaders create a huge impact through role modelling – if they role model activities that don’t support their own wellbeing, it will create the expectation for their people that this is what you have to do to be successful.
Managers are instrumental in supporting people’s wellbeing, they have the opportunity to speak to people and understand the issues they face.
And thirdly, as individuals, we know what helps us to feel great and happy. We must ensure we give ourselves time and space to do things that support our own wellbeing.
