Cut the meetings, make more friends
While we know back-to-back meetings are likely to reduce your daily productivity when it comes to work, we are also taking away time from that messy, unpredictable business of making friends.
When we make friends, we strengthen our resilience and make the time we spend at work more pleasurable, friends at work are also one of the best predictors of whether you will stay in your current job.
Leaders must now encourage and support friendships between people at work.
